Former Bolivian Congress Member Ximena Flores to host Arca de Leones
We are delighted that former Bolivian Congress Member Ximena Flores who introduced Law 40/40 – the law that banned ALL animals in traveling circuses in Bolivia (the first law to do so in the world) – will be introducing Arca de Leones (the Spanish version of Lion Ark) at the screenings on Thursday (2 October) in La Paz and Friday (3 October) in Santa Cruz. Members of the Operation Lion Ark rescue team and the filmmakers will be attending these screenings along with special guests and many of those involved in the campaign to secure the law and rescue that made history.
